The Parrott Tulips 'Black Parrot' are a must if originality in your garden is what you are after. The indented purplish black petals are absolutely beautiful. They blossom in April/May.
Parrot tulips have very large flowers with glistening mottled petals that are wavy and irregularly edged. They are certain to be sensational in your garden. They flower during April and May.
Plant the bulbs from October through to December, the pointed end facing upwards, 15cm deep and 15cm apart. Water just after planting, then regularly through the growing period, best in the evening after the sun has set.
Tulips can be grown in tubs, borders or rockeries in tight groups to give a more intense colourful effect.
