Old variety, it becomes a yellow hue overlaid with green stripes as the tomato ripens.
Its flesh is emerald green, tender and juicy.
The taste is huge, a sparking mix of sweet and tart.
They work best in salads, salsas and sherbets!
Type of soil: Rich and well-drained. Work the soil deeply.
Sowing time: From February to April.
Harvest time: From July to October.
Site: Full sun.
Sow inside:
- Sow three to four seeds in a pot. Cover lightly and water well.
- Choose the strongest plant from each pot once they have come through. Check the pots every day to ensure they are moist to avoid the plants dehydrating.
- Around March time, you can take the plants out from under cover.
- At the end of May the young plants can be planted out in the vegetable plot, make sure there is 50cm between each plant.
Care:
- Remove the side shoots and stake the plants as they grow.
- Water each plant regularly.
