This running variety bears about 10 small sized squashes per plant.
The fruit weighs about 300 to 800 gr. The exterior is a deeply ribbed, ivory white or cream marked by dark green strips, which makes it very decorative.
The orange flesh is incredibly sweet and firm, with a delicious nut and chestnut flavour.
It is perfect for roasting or in pastry.
Type of soil: Rich and light. Fertiliser recommended.
Sowing time: From April to June.
Harvest time: From August to October.

Sowing technique:
- As early as April, sow 2 to 3 seeds in pods in a cold frame,
or
- In May/June, sow outdoor 2 to 3 seeds together 2 cm deep in rows 80 cm apart.
Care:
- Water generously in dry weather, and let the soil dry up between two watering.
- Hoe frequently.
- Spread mulch to encourage the crop.
- Harvest constantly as soon as the first fruits ripen, so they do not overgrow and weaken the plant.
