Properties and uses:
Summer Savory is an aromatic plant growing in small shrubs, and with highly fragrant leaves. It is popular for its culinary uses and its peppery, minty flavour, close to the Thyme’s. It also has a lot of medicinal qualities, such as digestive and antiseptic.
It is a melliferous plant. The small lilac flowers attract bees, but can help you repel aphids from the vegetable garden and mosquitoes from your balcony.
