Trifolium fragiferum, the Strawberry Clover, is a hardy, evergreen groundcover perennial. It stands up to heavy traffic, even to vehicles, and settles in areas that need revegetating or supplementing. Indeed, clover is in the bean family Fabaceae, which particularity is to fix nitrogen and make it available in the soil. So, it is used as green manure, as it supplements the soil with nitrogen.
This fast-growing perennial herb produces light pink flowers from April to June, attracting bees and other pollinator insects.
