To fight the cold, birds need nutrients rich in fat, to amass a lipid reserve. The installation of a fat- ball support is for them a real help.
The support is to be installed 1.5m from the ground, in an open, sheltered space to be able to keep watch for the arrival of predators. It will allow the birds to resist cold in autumn/winter. In the spring, the support can be used to place fruits on.
