Characteristics and Uses:
The Paederia Lanuginosa is a perennial ground covering plant, or it can also be trained. The plant is edible, and the freshly cut young leaves have a strong cheese flavour, much like the Camembert flavour. The leaves are mainly used in Asian recipes but are not yet well-known in the European gastronomy.
It is a very decorative plant with its green foliage underlined with purple, and its pink and white flowers, giving way to small round fruits. Very interesting as a ground covering plant or trained in pot.
