The Rowan Burka is an amazing and ornamental fruit tree. In autumn, the foliage turns a beautiful apricot-orange then deep red.
Flat corymbs of white flowers appear in spring, and they are followed by red fruit, turning purple in September. They are grapes of fleshy fruit which can be used for jam, juices, or eaten fresh off the tree.
The tree can be planted alone but also with other varieties in a fruit or country hedge. It will undoubtedly find its place in your garden.
