Sow directly into the ground:
- Sow in rows 1 cm deep and 25 to 30 cm apart. Cover with sand or light soil.
- First time you thin out, keep one seedling every 2 to 3 cm.
- Second time you thin out, keep one seedling every 7 to 8 cm.
Care:
- Hoe and weed regularly. Water frequently in very dry weather.
- Sow with radishes, this way you will have a double crop, and you will protect the carrots from pests like spider mite.
