The fragrant 5 petals white flowers appear in May and June followed by red fruits – rosehips- which add colour to the garden until winter. Rosehips are very rich in vitamin C. It is renowned for its strengthening, astringent and diuretic qualities. This is a very useful shrub and is very popular within hedges or flowerbeds.
