Properties and uses:
The Rhododendron 'Horizon Monarch' is a superb, vigorous Rhododendron, with red buds which open to large creamy yellow flowers with pink tones underneath. It blossoms in April-May. It can be grown in flowering borders with other Rhododendrons, Azaleas or Camellias. It also grows well in pots, preferably in partial shade.
