Properties and uses:
Ornamental plant thanks to its foliage and flowers, it thrives in flowerbeds, rock gardens, low hedges and terraces, with full sun exposure. It grows in any soil, even poor and dry ones, where other species have a hard time developing.
The shrub can be pruned in late winter to give it a new start.
Several cultivars are available:
- Shrubby Potentilla 'Danny Boy': single flowers, raspberry pink with yellow heart. Flowering period from May to October.
