  • The planting cane is so easy to use, that it is very popular. Since forestry plantings are still done by hand, this tool allows work in an ergonomically correct position making the task both fast and comfortable. The metal structure facilitates the planting while maintaining a high productivity. The quality of the planting is optimised by the strong beak with adjustable opening.
    This apparatus is developed and produced in Scandinavia, with direct link to the planters.

    The planting cane is recommended for clods of soil of about 6,5cm in diameter (or 5 to 6,5 cm from the side) - height of clod: 10cm

    conditions of use: 1) sink the tube into the soil and press on the metallic plate with your foot until you reach the wanted depth
    2) press on the pedal at the base of the tube to open the beak
    3) drop the clod down the tube
    4) pull the tube out of the soil with a rotating movement, to drop excess of earth stuck in the beak
    5) pack the soil firmly with your foot, to root the clod into the ground
    6) close the beak using the lever. Grab a new clod with your free hand while walking to the next planting point
