    Properties and uses:
    The Western White Pine, or Silver Pine, is originally from western North America and takes its name from the white colour of its wood. It is also considered to have tender wood. The Silver Pine’s needles are in bundles of five. It mainly grows in low mountain areas with other species. The wood is used to make objects such as doors, moulds or even sculptures.
