Characteristics and uses:
The Pitch Pine is a Pine tree which originates from America. Its largely cracked, grey-brown bark is highly decorative. With its medium growth, this Pine tree does not require a lot. It can be planted on its own, or as a group. In nature, the Pitch Pine grows back after a forest fire and produces several, twisted trunks. This distinctive feature is appreciated by Bonsais’ lovers. -
