The Pileostegia viburnoides also called false Viburnum is a superb, climbing plant which has evergreen foliage and clings on to its support by itself. In the spring, its young shoots take a bronze tint. The Pileostegia produces long panicles of white flowers at the end of summer. Ideal grown in containers on a terrace or a balcony let it climb on a trellis for a screening effect. It can also be planted directly into the ground against a wall providing that heath peat is added to the soil beforehand. -
