Properties and uses:
The ornamental cabbage is a colourful winter plant, planted at the beginning of autumn and which lasts about one year.
It can be planted in pots or planters to decorate the terraces and balconies, or in groups in flowerbeds or borders. The colourful foliage will bring some colour and originality when the leaves are falling in the rest of the garden at the beginning of winter.
The ornamental cabbages are rather hardy, and can be planted in any region, as temperatures below 0°C brighten up the colours of their foliage.
The ornamental cabbages are also frequently used in floral compositions. -
