Characteristics and uses:
The Oriental Poppy is magnificent grown in flowering beds or borders. Its large, coloured flowers brighten up the garden from April to June. It is not rare for the foliage to dry after blossoming has taken place and to return the following autumn. The seeds propagate themselves easily if you do not cut out the flowers at the end of the blossoming period.
Oriental Poppy 'Beauty of Livermere': has large, red flowers with a black centre.
Oriental Poppy 'Türkenlouis': red flowers with a black heart.
