The golden Oregano 'Aureum' has beautiful, dense golden yellow foliage. This small bushy shrub attracts bees and is perfect grown in a rockery, in aromatic beds or in pots.
The golden oregano has the same aromatic qualities than the Common Oregano. Its beneficial effects can be enjoyed under different forms, in essential oil or in bouquets of dried leaves.
The Oregano stems are harvested from May to November, preferably in the morning. Dry them in the shade and keep them in an airtight container.
