The hemp and flax mulch-fabric is effective against weed; it prevents weeding and reduces watering needs.
The hemp and flax mulch-fabric is reinforced with biobased PLA produced exclusively with non-genetically modified corn, and bio-compostable according to the norm EN13432.
The hemp and flax mulch-fabric is compatible with organic farming and is certified by Ecocert.
Composition : Top layer (97%) : 100% natural fibres of hemp and flax (produced in Bourgogne), mixed by high-pressure water (patented spunlace process)
Bottom layer (3%) : PLA (made exclusively of non-genetically modified corn) 100% biobased, bio-compostable according to norm EN13432
Uses : - Creating flowerbeds for perennial plants
- Revegetating banks
- Planting trees, hedges
- Perennial agricultural plantations (vine-growing, etc)
Characteristics : - Density: 450g/m2 (+/- 10%) - Serviceable life: 24 months (+/- depending on the respect of the laying instructions, the nature of the soil, the weather)
Laying instructions: - Place the corn (PLA) side on the ground
- Fix it with staples
- Do not cover with soil
- Avoid stamping
