Properties and uses:
The Japanese maple 'Koto no ito' has finely indented foliage which changes each season. Pale green with brown tips in the spring, it becomes a darker green in summer before turning orangey-yellow in autumn. Despite the delicacy of its foliage, the Japanese Maple 'Koto no ito' tolerates sun.
This rounded-shape Japanese Maple is shown at its best grown on its own, or combined with heath peat loving plants like Azaleas ; Rhododendrons and stones and water for a Japanese garden in the traditional way ! The Japanese Maple 'Koto no ito' can also be grown in pot on a terrace or a balcony, or as a Bonsai.
