The Himalayan Maple is one of the rare Maples with evergreen foliage. It will only lose its leaves in a very harsh winter. This small tree with a rapid growth and a pyramidal shape will create a sensational focal point, planted on its own in a park or a garden. Its young, lance-shaped leaves are pinkish-red at first becoming olive green next, and they take on beautiful pinkish-yellow to reddish-yellow tints. Its bark is smooth, olive green with brown veins. -
