Properties and uses:
The famous Liquorice sweets come from the Glycyrrhiza Glabra! This perennial bush produces aromatic roots, and small blue flowers bloom from June to September.
Harvest the thickest roots, chewed fresh they taste sweet and a little salty. They can also be dried for later use in teas and hot drinks.
