Properties and uses:
Lavender when grown on a stalk is quite decorative. It can be planted in pots to decorate terraces and balconies, but also in open ground to bring relief to flowerbeds or make a beautiful border along an alley.
Violet blue perfumed flowers in June and July. Cultivated in the Mediterranean where it is harvested in August. It can be cut once a year after flowering.
