Characteristics and uses:
The Japanese Iris 'Gokurakuden' with its purple flowers and yellow throats is the ideal companion for the white Japanese 'Comtesse de Paris'.
The Japanese water Iris thrives in a moist to wet soil. It can be planted along the edges of a pond of stream. From June to August, it adorns big, highly coloured flowers which open flat. Cut the flowering stalks at the end of blossom and clean the clump at the end of winter.
