Properties and uses:
Virginia creeper is a vigorous rampant climber. It grows fast and gently sticks to its support thanks to small suckers on its tendrils. It is typically used to clothe walls, or to grow along fences, pergolas and even to provide ground covering.
Virginia creeper's deciduous foliage is quite ornamental : in Spring, the young leaves are deep red before turning green. Then in Autumn, they turn beautiful shades of red and purple before falling.
To cover a wall or a fence, place one plant every 2.5 metres. - Related Categories
