The Jiaogulans is also called Immortality Herb on the Asian continent. Furthermore, when infused in tea or coffee, the Jiaogulans’ leaves give a sweet taste to the drink. Whether grown in pot or in the ground, it is necessary to train the Gynostemma as otherwise it acts like a ground-covering plant and it can quickly spread! Mulch its base and prune its branches as and when necessary.
