    Properties and uses:
The Gunnera Manicata will without a doubt, bring a touch of originality and exoticism to your garden! Its foliage dimensions are impressive: The prickly succulent leaf stalks can grow up to 2 m, and leaves with diameters well in excess of 2 m are commonplace.
Long, red flowers cluster- buds will appear from June right through to Autumn.
This showstopper plant will be ideal beside a pond, or in a border.
In areas with cold, harsh winters, it is necessary to mulch around its root. Remove this protective layer early enough in the season to avoid the root rotting.
