Properties and uses:
The Strawberry Guava, also called Cattley Guava or Cherry Guava, produces small red edible berries. The flesh of the berry is white and has a sweet and sour flavour. In the coldest regions, it needs to be planted in pots so it can spend the winter in the house conservatory or in a frost-proof room. In the other regions, cover the plant with a winter fleece against light frost.
This shrub is a good landscape choice for your garden as well as a delight for the taste buds!
Our advice:
Take off the seeds to savour it.
