Adult size: Height up to 1m, width up to 70cm.
Foliage: Evergreen.
Type of soil: Well drained, moist and rich. Dislikes chalk.

Properties and uses:
Cogon grass grows tufts of elongated leaves. The leaves are pure green at the base and become progressively blood red towards the tips hence its name. In September / October, there is a fine flowering of silvery white flowers.
Whether grown in a pot or in an isolated group, the Cogon grass will add a surprise to your garden.
