    This bust of Buddha has a rounded face, well defined features above the eyes, and a very simple attitude. Its eyes are lowered, as if he is meditating. We notice that its features have been exaggerated with the elongated shape of its ear-lobes.

    Historically, the term "Buddha" refers to a person which has reached 'nirvana', the spirit fullness. Its experience and its wisdom have allowed him to reach this spiritual well-being. Numerous statues, of which this statue belongs to, refer to Siddhartha Gautama, known as the founding father of Buddhism.
