The David Viburnum is a small shrub which has compact foliage and with a tendency to creep if planted in a shady site. In May, its flat-topped clusters of white flowers appear. The fruits that follow are rather small, egg-shaped, blue on red peduncles. These will only appear if other David Viburnums are planted nearby.
