    Characteristics and uses:
The mignon dahlia ‘First Love’, with its small single orange flowers is ideal for borders or at the front of a flowerbed.

The dormant tubers are planted out in the spring, from February to end of May, and offer you a display of magnificent flowers from the summer through to the first frosts.
Dahlias like to be watered when it is hot, their roots kept in the shade and their heads in the sun.

Dead-heading on a regular basis will promote the apparition of new blooms and staking is a must for the tallest varieties.
