Description : Cypress, Lawson

Areas of origin: Western regions of North America, Oregon, California from 0 to 1500 m (1640yds). Introduced in 1854.
Adult Dimensions: Height up to 50 m (164'), width up to 20 m (65.6').
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil Type: Light.
Hardiness: Hardy to -32°C. Dislikes long periods of dryness.
Exposure: Full sun.

Properties and uses:
Magnificent tree planted alone with its conical shape and dense foliage. Pruning must be started early to achieve a dense hedge. The wood has a citronella fragrance, it is creamy white, light and strong.
