    Properties and uses:
The Alpine currant is a small round shrub. It is used for low hedges or as a main component of rustic hedges. It can also be a very decorative plant when grown as a specimen. Its small red fruits have little taste. They appear only on the female plants during the summer, it is therefore sensible to plant several shrubs.

Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
