This Clematis gives beautiful simple flowers, going from deep red to purple red.
It will highlight an old wall or a fence and will get along very well with white flowers.
The plant appreciates sunny spots and moisture at its foot: water lightly though regularly, and spread mulch at its foot.
Prune it to have new shoots and to give it some strength after really cold winters.
