Characteristics and uses:
The Chocolate Vine is a climber which has rapid growth. It blooms in April-May. The clusters of flowers have a pink calyx and purple petals. They have a vanilla scent and are full of nectar. Its light, tough, green foliage is semi-evergreen in mild areas.
Plant the Chocolate Vine against a support on which it will cling. As this plant does not like pruning, plan for a space large enough so it can develop fully.
