Characteristics and uses :
The Manchurian Cherry is an attractive, medium-sized tree. It's got a shiny, smooth, amber golden-brown bark, peeling once mature.
The small, pink and white flowers, lightly scented and melliferous, appear in April/May.
They are followed by small, black cherry-like fruits, appreciated by birds.
The dark green leaves turn yellow in autumn, before falling.
This tree grows quite fast and requires low maintenance. - Related Categories
