Characteristics and uses:
The Carolina Silverbell is a magnificent shrub which has spectacular, springtime blossom. In April-May, before leaves appear, it covers itself with bell-shaped, white flowers. In autumn, its leaves become vivid yellow before revealing a bark which exfoliates with age.
This shrub which does not require any particular care thrives in sites protected from cold winds and needs a moist, rich soil in order to grow properly. -
