Properties and uses:
The flowers of the Buddleia, also known as Butterfly bush, are fragrant and melliferous. The three-coloured Butterfly bush is made from three beautiful varieties of buddleia davidii, which are the ‘Empire Blue’ with blue panicles, the ‘Pink Delight’ with pink panicles, and the ‘White Profusion’ with white panicles. The blooming bush offers a great summer show from July to October. The Butterfly bush is quite hardy and tolerates pruning once in winter. It can be planted alone, in a pot, in a group or mixed with other plants in a colourfully flowered hedge.
