The flowers of the Buddleia also called Butterflies Bush are fragrant and are attractive to bees. The blossom in globular clusters of the Buddleia x Weyeriana happens slightly later, from August to October but is just as abundant .
The golden yellow blossom of the variety ‘Sungold’ is without a doubt the brightest bloom of all the Buddleias. It can be grown on its own as a specimen, in a group, mixed in flowering hedges to enhance your garden in summer.
The Butterfly Bush ‘Sungold’ also has the advantage of being sterile and therefore non-invasive.
