Silo-shaped, wooden birds feeder.
The roof can be lifted up to ease pouring the seeds between the 2 Plexiglas sides.
The wood has a beautiful pink shade and is naturally root resistant (insects and fungus resistant).
With its modern look, this birds feeding-dish will be as useful as decorative.
This feeding-dish is to be placed on a support or to be suspended.
Dimensions: 12 x 12 x 25 cm (L x d x H)
In winter, birds spend a large part of the day looking for food, in particular to fight the cold. It is a difficult season as resources are scarce and their energy needs are high. In the spring, parents need food for their fledglings. Installing a bird feeding-dish in a garden is therefore a great help for our feathers friends.
Where to install a bird feeder?
- Preferably in a sunny, peaceful spot, sheltered from bad weather. It also needs to offer good visibility to watch for predators.
- At 1.5 m from the ground, to be able to fill it easily while being inaccessible to cats.
- Ideally near a hedge or a shrub so that the birds can find shelter in it to shell the seeds.
