The Antarctic Beech (or false Beech) comes from the Andes and Tierra del Fuego. Its spreading shape and its small leaves turning golden- orange in the autumn are quite unusual. In the spring, its buds exhale a delicate cinnamon scent in the air.
Shown at its best planted on its own, sheltered from wind. The Antarctic Beech is also an excellent subject for bonsai connoisseurs. - Related Categories
