The Aztec Sweet Herb is a perennial aromatic plant, and its leaves have a sweet minty flavour. They are as sweet as any candy, and can be used fresh or dried, in desserts, fruit purées or teas.
This perennial is also a good ground cover plant, it will fill out empty space while offering nice small white flowers in summer.
Like many aromatic plants, the Aztec Sweet Herb requires moist soil in summer and mulch in winter. Don't hesitate to spread organic mulch around the foot of the plant.
