Properties and uses:
Dwarf Apricot can grow in a pot as it hardly reaches one meter high. This is a hardy, self-fertile variety – meaning that only one tree is enough to produce fruit – and a prolific fruit producer.
The fragrant, melliferous, white flowers bloom from March to April, and are followed by the first apricots in the beginning of summer.
Not demanding in care
The dwarf Apricot tree adapts to any type of culture and to any place.
When planting, always provide a draining system made of gravel or clay balls in the bottom of the pot. Do not hesitate to spread mulch at the foot of the plant. No pruning needed.
There exist several varieties:
'Garden Aprigold' : Fruit is about 5 cm in diameter, golden yellow or orange skin.
