The Apricot tree is well appreciated for its small, sweet and tasty orange fruits. The white or pink flowers appear before the leaves. As soon as the tree blooms, it is important to protect it from the frost, as it could jeopardize the fruit production.
Prune every year to clear the centre of the tree. Watering is necessary during drought, mainly the first year. Fertilize regularly.
Apricot tree ‘Canino’: the fruits of the Apricot ‘Canino’ are ripe in July and August. They are large, yellow-orange, with a juicy and tasty pulp. They are perfect for eating right off the tree, in pastries or for jam.
Plant them now: the shortest way to your plate is through your garden!
