Geographical origins: South African hybridization.
Adult dimensions: Height up to 80 cm, width up to 50 cm.
Foliage: Evergreen.
Soil type: Any, well-drained.
Climate: Hardy down to -10°C. Prefers mild climates, tolerates drought and coastal spray.
Exposure: Full sun.

Properties and uses:
Agapanthus are ideal for pots, planters, or flowerbeds. Particularly well adapted to drought, they will bloom from late spring to late summer. Pink agapanthus offers a refined alternative to traditional blue and white varieties. Its large spherical umbels consist of dozens of trumpet-shaped flowers, ranging from dusty pink to deep pink.
At the end of flowering, prune the dry stems. Water regularly during the first summer to encourage rooting. Apply a little compost in autumn. In winter, mulch the base or bring your agapanthus indoors away from frost in colder regions.
Several varieties exist:
