    Properties and uses:
Tamarix Gallica, commonly known as French Tamarisk, is a tall, deciduous shrub. It is famous for its fluffly appearance and its spectacular clusters of pale pink flowers that appear in summer. It is extremely hardy and particularly appreciated in seaside gardens or areas with poor soil, as it tolerates drought, limestone, strong winds and above all, salt (halophyte). It needs full sun exposure and tolerates severe pruning at the end of winter to keep a beautiful appearance.
