Properties and uses:
The 4 seasons Lemon Tree takes its name from the fact that it bears flowers and fruits practically all year round (at least 8 month per year).
Its scented, white blossom is followed by oval fruits, rather large, which zests are full of flavour.
Easy to grow, but needs protecting with a wintering fleece at the coldest of winter if it is grown in the ground. In the areas with very harsh winters, it can be grown in a pot and brought back indoors for the winter in a cool, non-heated room (maximum 10°C).
Prune it at the beginning of spring so to keep a compact shape ensuring that the branches bearing fruits are not too long.
